And he is seen giving Hitsugaya (Captain of 10th squad) candy’s any time they cross path, it may be that it’s because there last names have Shiro (meaning white in Japanese) at the end.

His favourite food is Ochatsuke (dried plum with tea). He doesn't have any food that he dislikes. Ukitake also likes to eat allot even though his body is weak.
